First time since Sint Maarten that I have not set an alarm. Still woke up at 6:30. All the snorkel gear had dried out, so it was time to repack it and store it away. Tomorrow is Half Moon Cay, and we could snorkel there, but it is the last day before disembarkation, and I don’t want to be repacking wet gear. I doubt that we get off the ship.
We had breakfast in the main dining room. We were seated at a shared table but nobody else was seated with us. How sad is that? So, a table for six became a table for two. Oh well. The crepes were excellent.
Today was a typical sea day – time by the pool, lunch in the Lido, and some balcony time.
Tonight, was our second Gala night. There were a lot of sparkly dressed women tonight. I thought they would serve lobster tonight but no … the featured meal was tenderloin and grilled shrimp. I had the ricotta and spinach tortellini. Wonder if lobster will ever get back on the menu without the upcharge?
We played some slots and then some blackjack. It has been a long time since I have played blackjack. I’m still Queen of the 16’s.
We listened to the first set of the Rolling Stone Rock band and then attended another Cantare performance – “Timeless” – I thought it was even better than the performance the other night.
After the performance, we called it a night. Once we got back to the room, our Mariner tile was on the bed. Typically, there is a Mariner lunch, and they hand out the tiles at that luncheon. Not sure if they will bring back the luncheon some day or if it is gone for good.
No towel animal tonight.
Tomorrow – Half Moon Cay
